Terms and conditions
Please Note that the wishlist facility on this website is an enquiry only, all orders will be confirmed in writing as a quote once availability has been checked. There is a minimum £100 order.
The contract is between the client and Party Wow Factor. It covers the provision of hired items described in the quote. A booking is confirmed when the client has paid Party Wow Factor the required 1st deposit payment and the order must be made in writing, either by letter or email from the client to Party Wow Factor. The prices stated on the quote are valid for 7days after the quote is dated.
Once an order has been placed & confirmed in writing to Party Wow Factor, the following applies: 1 st payment: 50% of the total invoice to secure booking (Non refundable). 2nd payment: The remaining balance of the invoice and the damage deposit must be paid by 4 weeks prior to the wedding or event.
Or Payment in full
We accept on line bank transfers, all payments are receipted once they are received. Upon final payment we require a damage deposit which will be in accordance with the value of the item hired and specified on the quote. This will be refunded to you upon inspection of the returned items within 7 days of your wedding or event.
If a client wishes to cancel their order, they must do so in writing, either by letter or email 28 days prior to the event. The order is cancelled once Party Wow Factor has received the confirmation and responded to confirm so. Failure to advise of cancellation within 28 days prior to the event will result in full payment being required.
Changes to order
If the client wishes to change the booking it must be made in writing, either by letter or email ( text message is not accepted). A telephone call will be accepted, but the client will be asked to confirm any changes in writing. All products are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that we can change your booking to another date, especially in peak season. Change of date may occur an admin charge.
Failure to pay
If the payment is not made within the timescales detailed above, on the invoice or otherwise, this will breach the contract. Party Wow Factor will treat the contract as at an end. If Party Wow Factor treats the contract at an end, any payments made to that date, shall be retained. Any balance will also be payable immediately to Party Wow factor. Party Wow Factor is therefore entitled to reallocate stock without informing the client, should the contract be treated as at an end. This clause is without prejudice to Party Wow Factor’s rights to claim damages from the client in respect of any loss suffered by Party Wow Factor.
Damaged, broken or lost Items
Damaged items will remain the property of Party Wow Factor and the damage deposit will be retained by Party Wow Factor, for any product that is returned to us damaged. Lost items will be invoiced to you the client to replace the items. Any items that are retained by the client will be charged a daily rate for each item per day until the product is returned to Party Wow Factor. Any item that may have been damaged, broken or lost prior to your wedding or event will be substituted with a similar item should a replacement not be found in time.
Props and Decorations
All props and decorations are provided for hire. These items are not for sale or to be kept by the client, unless otherwise stated. Party Wow Factor reserve the right to use the most suitable hire items in replace of any items in case of loss, damage or breakages.
Delivery and Collection service
Props and decorations will be delivered the day before and collected the day after the wedding/event unless otherwise stated/ agreed. All hire items must be packaged carefully and put ready for collection and this is the responsibility of the client so items do not get broken in transit and any damages must be reported. A suitable time for delivery and collection will be arranged approximately a week beforehand.
Delivery and Collection Fee
For hire items that are delivered there is a charge of 60p per mile charge (plus any congestion/toll charges) outisde a 5 mile radius from Leamington Spa. The delivery fee covers the mileage to get to and from the venue. For large hire items or a more complex order additional charges may apply; these will be included in the pricing summary on your quote.
Delivery hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm. Pricing varies depending upon your area and size of order. Deliveries that need to be made outside of regular business hours may incur an additional charge.
There is no set up service provided by Party Wow Factor. Party Wow Factor will make every endeavour to effect delivery of hired items at the time indicated by the client but will not under any circumstance be liable for any delay in delivery or for failure to deliver or collect nor for any expense caused to the client by such delay.
All quotations are valid for 7 days from date of issue and will be sent by email. Party Wow Factor reserve the right to change prices after this period. The prices charged are for a daily rate only, unless otherwise stated or agreed. Items can be hired for longer periods and must be agreed with Party Wow Factor in writing.
The company will accept no responsibility for damage or injury caused to person or product as a result of this hire agreement. All goods are hired and are the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned to Party Wow Factor. During the period of hire the Hirer is sole responsible for the hired goods and must insure against all risks.
Adverse weather conditions
Party Wow Factor do not hold any responsibility for adverse weather conditions effecting access to any venue. Party Wow Factor will attempt to get to the venue only when it is deemed safe. Party Wow Factor cannot be held responsible for ‘Acts of God’ (Fire, flood etc), labour disputes, failure of electricity supply and any other unforeseeable circumstance that prevent the promise of it’s services. Party Wow Factor reserve the rights to review and update the Terms and Conditions periodically.
